What happens if my BP is found to be high?
If your blood pressure reading is elevated, our team will advise you to consult Dr. Anand Karnam (DNB General Medicine, DrNB Neurology) the same day. He will assess your BP, evaluate stroke risk, and guide you on lifestyle changes or medication if needed — all in the same visit.

How often should I get my BP checked?
If your BP is normal (below 120/80 mmHg), get it checked once a year. If you are between 120–139/80–89 (elevated or Stage 1), check every 3–6 months. If you are Stage 2 or above, monthly checks are recommended until controlled. Dr. Anand Karnam recommends everyone above 30 years get at least one BP check per year.
